FAQ

Are Etsy fee percentages up to date?

Defaults reflect common published rates but Etsy can change fees by country and program. Always confirm on Etsy’s fee page and adjust the advanced inputs.

How should POD sellers set product cost?

Use the base price your print partner charges for the product + any extras (print areas, packaging upgrades). Shipping cost is what you pay the partner if not fully covered by buyer shipping.

What about VAT / sales tax?

This tool focuses on seller fees and COGS. Collected sales tax is usually pass-through and not modeled as profit. For German USt/Kleinunternehmer, use the dedicated tax calculator when available.

Should I include offsite ads?

Only if you use Etsy Offsite Ads. The fee applies to attributed orders — set the % when modeling those sales, or leave at 0.
